THE LEGEND OF FLAME FIRE & MUD VOLCANO
All places that you will visit with us

BAKU
The Baku City Tour begins at Baku National Boulevard, a beloved seaside retreat for locals and visitors alike, stretching along the Caspian coast. Lined with chestnut, plane, and palm trees, the boulevard is dotted with modern cafes, restaurants, theaters, and fountains. From here, a funicular railway will take you to Highland Park (Dagustu Park), offering stunning panoramic views of Baku. You can also embark on a sea voyage by pleasure boat along Baku Bay, where a guide will share intriguing historical tales and legends of the Caspian Sea.

GABALA TOUR
Gabala served as the ancient capital of Caucasian Albania, with archaeological evidence suggesting its status as early as the 4th century BC. The ruins of this historic town are located 15 km from the regional center, positioned between the Garachay and Jourluchay rivers. Gabala was situated along the 2,500-year-old Silk Road and has been referenced by notable figures such as Pliny the Younger, who called it "Kabalaka," Greek geographer Ptolemy, who referred to it as "Khabala," and Arabic historian Ahmad ibn Yahya al-Baladhuri, who named it "Khazar." In the 19th century, Azerbaijani historian Abbasgulu Bakikhanov noted in his book Gulistani Irem that Kbala or Khabala were indeed Gabala.

THE LEGEND OF FLAME FIRE & MUD VOLCANO
Azerbaijan's nickname, the "Land of Fire," goes beyond mere marketing; it's evident in two remarkable locations. As one of the original homelands of the ancient Zoroastrian religion, fire symbolizes the divine. Miraculously, this country is home to natural fires that erupt spontaneously from the ground, still burning today, as seen at Yanar Dag (or "Burning Mountain"). Although not a true mountain, this windswept hillside, located 25 kilometers northeast of Baku, has been ablaze for as long as anyone can recall, showing no signs of extinguishing anytime soon.
